Dan
is an attorney who has practiced in both Indiana and Michigan for over
25 years. In 2000, Dan came to California to act as General Counsel
for Initiative Media, which at that time was the largest independent

acquired by an advertising conglomerate, and all corporate functions
were eventually transitioned to New York City. Dan, however, chose to
stay in Southern California.

Bankruptcy Court. He has served as Judge Pro- Tem, in addition to
mediator in the Michigan District Courts. Dan has extensive experience
with consumer and commercial collection matters, as well as insolvency
issues. Dan is also experienced with out-of-court work-outs and
settlements from both in his private practice cases and while in-house
counsel at Initiative Media.
In 2003, Dan joined with Mosier & Co. to oversee the day-to-day
administration of an investment and retirement account management
operation that was placed into Receivership by the SEC. During this
assignment, he negotiated the company out of leases and oversaw the
administration and eventual sale of the business that provided
back-room support for roughly 220 pension plans.
Dan earned his BA from Wabash College and his JD from Indiana
University Law School. He also completed a six month foreign study
program at Waseda University in Tokyo Japan.
Dan has served on various Bar Association Committees in both Indiana
and Michigan and has been a Seminar presenter/speaker on numerous
occasions. In addition, he taught Business Law as an adjunct professor
at Indiana Central University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
